About CAPACO
Important work deserves systems people can depend on.
CAPACO was built to help organizations bring more clarity, structure, and confidence to the work happening behind the scenes.
Why CAPACO Exists
Good people can only do so much when the systems around them are unclear.
CAPACO exists to help organizations strengthen the structure, information, and everyday processes their people rely on so the work becomes easier to manage and more dependable over time.
Meet the Founder
Sonia Swam
CAPACO grew from years of working inside organizations where financial, operational, and reporting systems had to work in the real world—not just look good on paper.
Sonia’s background spans finance, budgeting, accounting operations, compliance, and systems-building across public, private, and nonprofit organizations. That experience shapes a practical approach: understand the work first, strengthen what already works, and make the rest easier for people to manage.
What Guides the Work
Practical work starts with a few simple principles.
Understand first
Take time to understand how the organization actually works before deciding what should change.
Keep it practical
Build solutions around the people doing the work, not around unnecessary complexity.
Strengthen what works
Preserve the parts of the organization that are already working well and focus improvement where it matters most.
Build for the long term
Create systems, documentation, and responsibilities people can continue using after the project is complete.
“The goal is not to make an organization more complicated. It is to make the important work easier to understand, manage, and sustain.”
— Sonia
